I was checking the satellite map images of the Canadian Pacific SOO tracks in Northern Minnesota to see what was left trackside.
There are practically no trackside customers left between Minneapolis, MN and Detroit Lakes, MN.
Does the Canadian Pacific have any customers left in Northern Minnesota?
How can they even make any money for the employees and shareholders if there are no customers in such long stretches of track?
If the Canadian Pacific has nobody in the community that relies on the railroad these days, then they are just going to be a distant, obnoxious presence when they make severe demands.
