I'm announcing this here as well as the tin plate forum, because it's also about O gauge trains being made in the US.

Here's some exciting news for you tin plate fans. We are bringing back Dorfan! And, it's our intention to make it in the USA! John Hoover of Trains Hoover in Orlando Florida will be looking after the US end and I will be looking after the Australian, New Zealand Pacific region. Sounds great to have another company in O gauge! Give the big boys in O gauge some compititon.

Are the couplers going to be pre-war style box & pin?

Both couplings will be available, the ones as pictured to run with Lionel and the MTH replicas and the Dorfan O gauge pin/slot ones.
