I like the clean-cut appearance of cabling I've seen in some of the posted photos on this Forum. In particular, the double banana plugs used to and from TIUs is very appealing to me. I haven't really done a detailed search for the plugs yet (saw some at Mouser's site), but was wondering if you need to specify the center-to-center distance of the pins when ordering, or is there an industry standard for these plugs which will ensure a perfect fit on my TIUs and Z-4000s?

Bob,
As long as you get a double plug of the correct size, I believe that the spacing is standard. I'v bought several different ones over the years and never had a problem.
I've gotten mine at Radio Shack. Perfect sizing.
I get mine at the local electronic supply house. Every one I have ever seen has had the same spacing, which fits MTH transformers, TIU's, etc.
I believe the double plugs are a standard spacing, I have not experienced different widths.
They are available at Radio Shack and other electronics supply places.
Thanks, all.
The standard spacing for a double banana plug is 0.75 inch between centers.
