I do not remember hearing amplified voices at trackside, but then I was just a kid.  Those guys should take a page from the airlines - no chatting below 10,000 feet.

I do like Challengers, though.  And your track looks great.

Thanks for the comment!  Haha, although not exactly prototypical, I do really enjoy the crew talk....I know some people are not crazy about it, but I think it adds a little extra something to the engines!

Fastrack was my track of choice considering I am relegated to a small carpet oval for the time being.  The roadbed elevates the track just enough whereby minimizing the amount of carpet shag and dust getting caught in the undersides of my locomotives.  I would love to throw down some GarGraves, but I'll have to wait until I am able to construct a permanent layout.
