Hello all-

Thought I would post some pics of my just about completed Downtown Deco Atlantic Hotel / Erie Pub Build.  One last thing to add is a window AC unit (a Yorke casting), to one of the windows.  Mike Lynch aka Madmike3434 gave me that idea.

The brick walls are inset at the corners, and brick is carved around the back of the exposed walls.  I also carved brick into the plaster into the window and door openings.

The  brick walls were stained with thinned Acrylic paints.  I used full strength gesso (tinted with a gray acrylic) for the mortar.  The stone walls and the window sills were done with pan pastels.  The faded 'Atlantic Hotel' stencils were also done with pan pastels.

I used a variety of castings on the roof.  The rood is sandpaper, glued onto styrene.  I scribed lines ever scale 4 feet.  The roof was then sprayed black, then misted gray.  Various pan pastels were used to add detail to the roof.

The building is lit with LED - I tried to keep this dim as the structure is supposed to be a run down bar with tenement housing above.  Gunrunner John helped me use the LED strips for the first time.  The gooseneck lamp by the front door also lights up.  I blacked out a few of the windows. Cat silhouettes are in 2 of the windows.

Most of the signs were printed onto tracing paper with a laser printer (thank you wifey), sprayed with dull cote, then attached with white glue.

Thanks for looking-
