Sunday afternoon in Aspinwall.PA. near Pittsburgh, a NS contract crew was installing PTC cables at a crossing when a car ran the signals in front of an oncoming train.
The train struck the car, sending it into the crew of workers, injuring 2 and trapping the car's driver.
This Pittsburgh Tribune-Review photo shows local first responders assisting the 2 workers and preparing to extricate the driver of the struck car.
Late update reports all suffered non-life threatening injuries, with 1 rail worker still in hospital.
