And he could be in the same cell with the woman,WITH A YOUNG INFANT, who tried to beat an NS train near Apollo, failed to yield the right of way to another car. they collided, came to a stop on the RR tracks, the mother got the baby out moments before the train hit her car. Cops said that she would be cited. The stupidity never ends.

Traditionally, in cases like this:

• There is no jail time
• Only a civil suit if a passenger is hurt or killed
• The RR won't do anything and will suck up any damages and drive on

Well, not always.  Where I worked, we filed claims with the driver's insurance carrier, for damage to track, signals, and equipment.  Sometimes it was enough to cover the damages, other times not.
