Hopefully wearing clothing that is clean and deodorant. Seriously, wear comfortable shoes, comfortable pants (I wore sweats or jeans) and whatever top and you are fine. Just don't wear a T shirt that is going to cause blood pressure to rise, you know, like 'DCC is a real option" or "I run my trains on battery power" or "The new Base 3 app is the real command control" and you will be fine *lol*.

Well, I guess that was a ridiculous question, However better to be safe than embarrassed.   Since it is my first York, I didn't want to be run out on a rail for wearing a boat or airplane shirt.  Thanks guys.

Don't let us having a little fun at your expense put you off, it's all in jest!  Welcome to your first York, I'm sure you'll have a great time.  If you're there on Thursday evening, by all means stop by the Quaker Steak and join the OGR bunch.

Here's a semi-serious thought, although not really a dress code issue, but more of an accessory...

There is a certain amount of ridicule towards having a price guide sticking out of your pocket, or quoting guide values when evaluating a potential purchase.  Using a guide to track your inventory is OK, but how are the cool kids going to know that's what you're doing and you're not using it to check prices?

Gun Runner John,  As an old politician, I have thick skin. That post generated some great comments and I took no exceptions.  And for sure I know now what the dress code is. Even better LOL

You’ll need thick skin when you forget the arrow flows on the floor,……it wouldn’t matter what clothes you wear, ….but good googly moogly don’t get caught by the “arrow cops” …..😁
