Clay i'm not sure what you mean.  ^^Odd is correct,  you should not expect or try to turn the wheels by hand.  Now, if you mean that after a sudden stop the loco refuses to run, that could be due to a variety of mechanical issues, especially a universal joint coupling that's slipping on the shaft.

Please clarify, or if you've already done some troubleshooting, tell us what you found.  Thanks!

Hey guys. I’m back. Take a look at these pics. The actual back driver wheel (connected to the drive) works fine, so the problem is with the three sets in front. I’m noting the the hole positioning for the front driver is substantially off from what it is on the other sign. Also, if I take off the side rod on the other side and twirl the front driver I see the next driver trying to turn in the opposite direction. Check out the photos. IMG_0087IMG_0088

A little more than just getting the correct orientation….I’m sure you’re referring to quartering…..The driver has come away from the axle, and is obviously spinning loose. This repair will require checking the driver for any cracks or breaks. Checking the fitment, and either re-spline the axle, or using loctite 640, 680, or equivalent shaft retainer. All the meanwhile making sure it stays in quarter. I’ve circled the tell tales that show that driver coming away,….
