Thank you for looking at these newest Duckunder Terminal Railway photos.  Sorry that it has been so long since my last post.  It's been an extremely busy winter and spring.

I still have not found the time necessary to master taking photos with my Panasonic Lumix, but since I had to upgrade last week to a newer Samsung Galaxy smartphone (from an S4 to an S6 Edge), I thought I'd try out their new camera, and I found it very forgiving in low light.  Let me know what you think.

I also wanted to take some pictures of the N&W 611 because I will be at the real 611's throttle at 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 21, when the locomotive returns to the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer for Rail Days Weekend (June 19-21).  Purchasing a half hour of time to take the 611 for a spin is a great way to donate to the Museum!

Anyway, see what you think of these low-light photos.  The first batch was taken on the Roanoke scene, and the second batch of the 611 on the turntable at the engine facility on Duck Island,

Thanks for the nice words, guys.

Fred, it's no wonder you like the turntable and roundhouse since they were YOURS before you moved to Omaha from Iowa!  I enjoyed my drive out to bring them home.

Bruce, I look forward to your visit here in Raleigh.  Contact me via will@allenheuer.com or mobile 919-349-6566 to coordinate.  I hope you enjoy seeing it in person as much as in pictures.

Best regards,
