Hi folks,

Many of you love GG1 locomotives. I found an Ed Duddy one made in the thirties and bought it on eBay. Stumped for a way to finish the model I elected to get a Williams plastic GG1 to supply the running gear. Mounting the Ed Duddy shell is not that hard to work with the aluminum. I used a Dremmel cutting disk to do the work and the time factor was about three hours. Basically all that is left it to drill the boss sections sticking out at the sides and tap four holes to secure the shell to the chassis. Here are some self explanatory photos including one of my grandson fooling around with grandma's hair hat.

I hope you enjoy this display and possibly you may want to follow my lead making a GG1. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
