Hey guys! I just picked up a powered and dummy set of the Reading and Northern Sd50s with PS3. I run it in conventional which was going fine until the front lights on the dummy unit (20-20182-3) went out but the back one still works. The front light was working fine then just shut off I’m pretty sure it’s an LED so I’m not sure what’s going on. I reset it to factory default and still nothing. I have both lights turned off now so it’s not a big deal but it’s way to new to have an issue like this.

Didn't know you could reset a dummy. Check for voltage at the plug first.
"Do you have a digital voltmeter?"

You probably can’t, I just did the sequence anyway lol

Oh probably somewhere!
Well, how about opening the loco and perusing the wires and snugging up the connections? Just sayin'. You don't even need a voltmeter for that. Just a screwdriver. Really.
Everything seems tight and all wires look good
I did notice that the large odd silver metal thing on the left is hot and the one on the right is not...

You likely have a short in the wiring to the light(s), or the 6V power module with the hot heatsink is defective.
Well it randomly came back on and has not turned off yet!
