I have 10 DZ-1000s

I have a few controllers(?)

So, a few ????

since I'm short on the operating end of the switch motor..what other optiion will work, after all, this is just a momentary contact button, correct?

And one controller will operate more than 1???

I prefer to use manual throws on my Gargraves, but will be utilizing my MTH and their controllers on inaccessible locations..

And possibly these DZ-1000s will come in handy on Yards...

Or maybe selling them is the best option for me...

Anyone have wiring information, tips or tricks?

Testing instructions?

Advice?

You need DPDT momentary toggle switches. I use the 15 amp version which is a new definition of overkill but I like the size. Center position if off.

Below is an old picture. I ended up taking the plates off and adding stick on labels.

If you decide to use it is best to look on the internet for the lowest cost. I will also send an electrical schematic if you decide to buy.

With the Gargraves switch you need a single pole double throw switch with the center off. I am using the switch controls that come with the Gargraves or Ross switches, I put either the neutral or hot to the center of the switch and the other wire to the switch machine center wire. The two outside wire positions get the momentary power from the throw switch.
