I just recently started installing DZ 2500 switch machines. What I have noticed is on the remote that comes with it, when I have it set to straight it has the green light lit up as it should but the red light is still on but very dim on the remote. Is this normal? I have installed two of them and they both do the same thing. When it is set to turn it is fine ...the red light is on bright and the green light is completely off.

Yes The DZ-2501 controllers do not completely shut off the opposing LEDs.

i made a circuit that controls multiple DZ-2500Cs without using the DZ-2501s but instead uses a momentary switch and then illuminates separate red and green LEDs for each one; that can be placed on a control board.
