Here is my Easter Micro layout. The Island of Egg and the Egg Island Transportation Company. They work the Licorice Jellybean Mining operation.
As you can see the island has some unusual landforms with most of the tight 16 in diameter Superstreet trackage on trestles.
The engine, cars and track are all K-line from the tail end of their production. I built this layout years ago and I do still have it but have it tucked away in storage. This being stuck inside for weeks has me wanting to do another fun micro layout.

Lionel had an "Easter Eggspress" docksider set shown last year's catalog, but it has been withdrawn. The original projected release date was later this year! No wonder no one pre-ordered it a year and a half out.
The GEVO has some pretty good Easter-themed colors:
The CSX Safety Caboose fits perfectl with it's two colors:

That's a neat track plan Walt. Looks like the train can run from the outer loop all the way to the middle figure 8, reverse, and back out again. Just make sure you have plenty of black jelly beans
Great stuff, everyone!

i originally planned to have 2 trains running but the grandkids couldn't quite get it right and kept wrecking, but that's grandkids' job, right?. And, yes, you are correct about how a train can move to any of the 3 layers. And, yes, it can reverse.
thanks for taking a close look at my pictures!

Hope l didn't miss a pictured Marx Bunny Train, shhh. Don't mention that where Louis Marx can hear you.
Fun stuff. Any more Easter layouts out there?
Years ago I saw an Easter themed video on youtube with pre-war trains. Clever video with dump car dumping Easter candy, etc. Can't find it now. Anyone know the link to this?
Edit: Found it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAh3rajiMnE

@dmestan That video is really nice. It is really nice to see an all Art Deco era extensive Marx set up. Thanks for posting it.
