id like to put this flasher in a fastrack section of my layout.  I have some controllers that are activated by the weight of trains, but I’m not sure if they could be used.  I found when you use old 3rail, there are connectors that go on ground rail, 1 for both outside nuts and then you power center nut with clipon to center rail.  Can this be simulated with fastrack??

I’m sure someone out there has an idea that may work for me   Thanks in advance   Jeff

Can be done, but it takes a few minutes' work:

GEDC1531

1) Cut slots in the FasTrack where the green lines are.  Make sure the (now insulated) sections are not grounded to the track.

2) Run wires from the insulated sections to the outer crossing signal terminals as shown.

3) Run a wire from the center rail (or to the accessory terminal,  if you have a common ground) to the center terminal.

When a wheelset runs across the insulated section,  it completes the circuit and the appropriate light flashes.

Hope this helps!
