Let me start by saying I support my local dealer and purchase most of my new O Gauge trains there as I'm well taken care of by them.
I do however occasionally make purchases on Ebay, especially for items that aren't readily available from my local shop. There is Ebay buyer protection and also Paypal buyer protection, so at worst I've had to send an item back for a full refund.
My question pertains to a purchase I just made of an engine that was described as "THESE DIESELS ARE LIKE NEW OR MINT NEW IN THE BOX, LOOKING AT THE ROLLERS PERHAPS THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN RUN , TEST RUN AT MOST". However, when I got them today the chronometer showed 23 hours of run time and the odometer showed 200 scale miles on the engine.
The engine does look like new, and I'd like to keep it. Does a small refund sound out of the questions or am I being picky for that amount of run time?
