I was looking at a ERR board on ebay and it is called MINIEX mini commander......is this an old version of mini commander2 or something like that. Just wondering.

It appears to be a Mini Commander ACC used for accessories.
@William Jack It is the earlier version of the mini commander, according to Gunrunnerjohn, they tend to have issues. Your better off going with mini commander II for a few dollars more.

Actually, John didn't say that about this specific product. The Mini Commander EX is a special software version for dummy locomotives. It would not function as a normal Mini Commander ACC, it has different behavior.
