Electrical barrier strips

Depends on the strip, can you be specific as to what you have?  Typically, if you have something like is pictured below, the two screws between the dividers are connected together and insulated from all other screws.

There are  available strips that will connect across horizontily for multiple connections.  Fits the item in above post.

Copper wire can also be used in the same manner.

I always connected T-strips "horizontally" via jumpers, on the strip shown below I used plate jumpers. You can also buy jumper strips that connect all the way across the strip and as already noted one can diy via copper wire. 

Yup, important to know what style you had in mind.  Here’s a couple more examples.

Ted, got a cheap source for shorting blocks for barrier strips?  They seem to cost more than the strips!

All those commons and accessory commons, electrical panel neutral bars work well. 

A system of powered Buss fuse holders worked well for both track power and accessory power. 

Track power upper center/left. 

Accessory power right of center.

I too use those Electric Panel Ground Bars. 

They are inexpensive and offer more connections. 

I have a used Z4000 and the meters do not work. 

So I made this Ammeter to get teal time Amperage information on my track blocks.
