Excellent.  I personally think doing it like this -- "catenary without the catenary" -- is the way to go, IF your prototype does not use wire cross spans.

 

Those insulators look pretty good, and dunking them in a gloss dark brown paint might make them look even better.  Can you tell us the store and stock number for the green beads, please ?

The beads came from Pat Catan's Craft Center the part # is 0699-48-16. There are 48 beads to a pack, size 4mm. The brand is Ultimate Crystals - Swarovski Crystal Beads. Price $6.59. With one package of 1/4" I-beams from Plastruct I was able to make five single poles and one double. It cost a grand total of $1.25 per pole. You can create each structure in about 10 minutes. - Conrail John
