Eminent Domain has reared its ugly head in my humble abode! I have been forcefully ejected from my office/train room and moved into the half unfinished section of the basement which has nothing in it, just a few boxes that can be moved to the crawl space with great ease.
The Powers That Be are providing funding to put up a suspended ceiling lighting and finishing the 2 walls. I was very upset with this turn of events, until the gears started spinning for a LARGER layout and to add to the fun, my wife’s cousin has just giving me his small N gauge layout that is a 4x4 table, he is switching to O Gauge.
Bad part is I lose a layout for a month or 2, but I am figuring at least 12 feet by something!
This is one time that Eminent Domain has worked out! 
I'm not ashamed.
