Just got a PS2 GP35 (2011 catalog model). It added to my remote on a programming track no problem, started right up, had complete function on the programming track. I moved it to my layout, and it just comes up "engine not on track". I thought maybe it was just a low battery from sitting in the box, so I let it charge for a while on the programming track, but still no luck. I tried deleting it, adding it to the remote on the layout and it finds it, assigns it an address and then runs. If I turn it off, then try and start it again, it says "engine not on track". Tried resetting TIU, resetting remote, factory reset the engine in conventional (Z750, 1 horn, 5 bells), assigned it more than one address, still no luck.

The switch is set to 3 rail. The polarity switch is set to the same side as "3 rail" (not sure if the polarity switch matters).

I can let it idle and keep charging the battery, but the sounds continue for quite a while after its shuts down, which leads me to believe that its charged.

Any help?

Only 1 TIU. I disconnected it from the layout and connected it to the program track, then reconnected it to the layout. Hitting read does nothing, its not finding it. When you turn on the power, it "clicks" like it should, but its not being recognized unless you add it.

I've had it charging on the track for an hour now and its still not working, so I'll just leave it for another hour or 2 to see if that gets it going. If not, I guess I'll have to give MTH a call tomorrow.
