I have 1 TIU using 3 of the channels each having its own power brick.  TIU is powered from Fixed 1 with a PH180.  I started seeing thie error a couple of months ago.  At first I figured batteries but was seeing it on an engine with a BCR and a PS3 ones.  Charged the batteries anyway, checked power on TIU, checked fuses, cleaned track and was still seeing this error.  What was happening was the engine would start up but would shut down when you went to move forward.  Tried only using one channel, different power brick and even got frustrated and went back to a throttle and ran all my engines the old fashion way.  Plugged everything back and suddenly things worked.  Things seemed fine for a couple of months now but seeng some odd things again this week after things were fine last week.  seeing that error on my PS2 engines but not on my one PS3 which seemed to be running odd to me like it was having power interruptions so I ran the signal test and each time it ran I saw different numbers in different places on the layout (drops sometimes in one place on one run and then OK on the next run but drops in different places).

Suggestions?  other things to check?  would resettng the TIU and remote be a good option?

Also check loco pickup rollers to make sure they're not fouled.  When my grandsons set up their own layouts, I found that a substance would come off their tracks and foul the rollers.  But grease can also build up.

If what I have mentioned all checks out, then we'll have to go into issues like type of track, power feeds,

I would say that all you have described seems to be electrical feed rather than DCS.

The odd part is the PS3 engine working fine, only issues with PS2 ones.
