EP5 Issue

I have a new Rail King EP5, 30-5113-1, and it derails on all 14 of the 042 Real Trax switches on my layout. The derailment occurs going into the curved-branch of a switch, and it is always the lead wheel of the leading truck that jumps to the wrong side of the frog and causes the derailment.

Are there any other owners of 30-5113-1 EP5 locomotives having this problem?

I also sent this message to MTH Service today.

Is the 3rd rail pick-up shoe (extension detail on the truck frame) striking the swichbox? A file will take care of that.
