Nice! I am sure your friend's dad would be happy to know his trains are in your care.
Way cool! Toys that still work nearly 100 years after they were built is a wonderful thing, especially if they're Lionel trains.
Now, those are some real sound systems!
Hard to not like that stuff. The AF Atlantic set looked particularly nice. Often, some 50's AF plastic cars warp badly. Those appeared straight.

Great video, and fantastic pick ups, the 249E and the original #10 are very serious Tin. You did a great job buy the way, on the AF Tin, good review on her also.
Nice to see the 249E and the #10 Run at the end of the video, if you want to sell the original #10 please let me know. The manual reverse unit was a big time child play item in it's day, would love to add it to my Tin Plate Trains.
