Yep, the key point is to make SURE you remove that ground wire from the 10-pin connector.  I don't bother with the cruise on/off switch they mention, I just set it from the remote if I want to turn it on or off.  I also pull the pins from the six pin connector and install them into a 4-pin shell, no reason I can see to have splices all over the place.

I've done 4 of these and never thought of that (4 pin wires).  Looks like they would mention that as an option in there instructions.  Thanks for sharing!
