I have 6-24534 Erie Lackawanna and want to replaced the motor driver board with err cruise m board .. Do I use the sd80 instructions it seems to be the same style . It has railsounds 5 .. Any info will be helpful.

Yep, the key point is to make SURE you remove that ground wire from the 10-pin connector. I don't bother with the cruise on/off switch they mention, I just set it from the remote if I want to turn it on or off. I also pull the pins from the six pin connector and install them into a 4-pin shell, no reason I can see to have splices all over the place.
can you use qsi coil couplers with the err cruise commander

I've done 4 of these and never thought of that (4 pin wires). Looks like they would mention that as an option in there instructions. Thanks for sharing!

Yep, just not PS/2 or PS/3 couplers, they're much lower impedance and higher current.
