I have the subject Napa Valley Wire Train and am considering conversion to TMCC using ERR. My question is space inside the diesel engine for either a DC Commander or Cruise Commander plus ERR railsounds. Is there space ? Any help would be appreciated.

There should be plenty of room for both the Cruise Commander and ERR railsounds boards. K-Line's FA-2 locomotives have motors mounted in the trucks, leaving the entire area behind the cab wide open.
Spend a little extra for the cruise commander. Once you operate with cruise, you will never want to go back.
Thanks for the feedback. Given the diesel has dual motors, the space behind the cab must mean there is plenty of room between the two vertical motors. Any recommendations on where to mount the speaker ? I'm favoring the cruise since part of the trip to the vineyard includes a grade.
There may not be vertical motors. Many K-Line engines, including the FA-2 have horizontal motors in the trucks. That means the cab is almost empty. Take the cab off the loco and have a look.
The cruise is definitely worth every penny.
