ERR questions - DC commander and mini commander

All the ERR stuff defaults to incandescent bulbs, however you can use LED's with a resistor as well.

The ERR Mini Commander 2 is still available as well as the documentation.

What value and wattage?

Would the Mini Commander be suitable for the Western Hobbycraft trolleys?

Does it have a DC can motor?  Is there room for the board?  I have never looked that closely at one of these, but I suspect it would work if it fits and has the right type of motor(s).

Concerning the original Mini Commander, I installed one on a K-Line interurban, the car snagged on a K-Line switch, and burned out the output triac(s). I *think* it ended up with gunrunnerjohn, my reason being, even if I do fix it, its going to burn out again unless I can redesign the circuit, polyswitch, whatever, forget it.

I use a PTC in series with the motor leads for anything running with the MC-II or the Cruise Commander Lite, this helps protect the drivers.

Single DC can motor. I don't recall if it has a flywheel, but I do recall one of mine was equipped with a sound board, so the other three having just an electronic E-unit should be able to accommodate it.
