Nice Job Spence!
Really good work, Spence. The outdoor lighting looks so much more realistic. Nice. How did you fit the wiring in?
I took the top part of a street lamp & drilled out the light socket. I then put an LED in it's place by hot gluing it. I ran the wires down the back of the poles & glued that also. You won't see the back of the poles when I place it on the layout. If they did show I probably would just add some lichen to the poles to hide the wires.
It looks really good, that is for certain. I may try to add some to mine . . .
When I go downstairs later I'll take some pictures of the lamps I started with.
Great addition, for sure.
I sould get one today in the mail, my son in law ordered one for my birthday, nice boy. now all I need is their pharmacy. got the department store, the general store, and the door factory, they make a great product WS.
I keep hearing comments about "I just don't have any place for another building, but I have to have that one." Woodland Scenics is doing such a great job with these buildings that we are all finding ways to include them. Considering their price points WS is doing quite a job with these.
Spnce - Nice job with your lights. They greatly enhance the scene.
