Tomorrow I shall be paying a visit to the Eurospoor show in Utrecht. Although O-gauge is not common there, and 3-rail O even less so, I shall be keeping my eyes peeled just in case.

i do intend to visit the Merkur stand, and according to the web-site, the Dutch Hornby O-gauge club are meant to be exhibiting a layout there too.

I'm going to take my remote control Thomas engine with me, on the off-chance that I can sneak it onto a track and cause some amusement.

If there is anything specific, in any scale or gauge, that anyone wishes me to look-out for, and photograph/report on, please let me know and I'll do the best that I can.

Thanks  everyone. I've made notes, and shall scour the halls with a camera in-hand.

Southwest Hiawatha, I don't know if ETS will be at this show, but I shall do my best to discover anything that I can for you.

Landsteiner, unfortunately I shall be driving. But I'll raise a glass to you when I return home.

Lee, I think that you would enjoy this show. There are normally lots of layouts in many scales to see. I find it a great place to get ideas, and am always impressed by some of the engineering solutions and I admire the skilled craftsmanship of the model builders.

Dear all,

I had a great time at the show, and managed to check out the Merkur range, found some interesting O gauge layouts, and lots of other good stuff. (With pictures too.) On one layout I saw a very effective animated waterfall technique that I am sure will interest some of you.

I apologise for not having posted my report yet, but various important issues have delayed me a bit. I'm hoping that I'll be able to post details this evening.

Thanks for your patience.
