I have a new 3 rail loop so I finally get to test some engines I have. I'm using an older TIU and version 4.2 I believe.
I put a premier PS2 CSX SD35 on the rails.

I was moving the CV's for the soft keys as I add engines to the TIU using the Read.
I pressed the ext start up soft key and the engine came to life. It ran perfect and responded to all commands. The engine sounds remained at idle or maybe a higher idle no matter what speed was elected, with no changes in engine rpm sounds. I pressed the rev up and no change. The smoke was minimal if at all? Everything else worked as it should?
I shut the engine down with the command and then pressed start up without cycling any power. The engine then ran normally with engine sounds going up and down and the engine smoked better too.
I need to test more when I get more time. I'm just wondering if anyone ever saw this condition? I thought it was odd.
