Extra Doors on Autoracks?

Those aren't doors, they are just solid side panels. I have a feeling that they are structural. I've been seeing lots of those over the Grand Trunk lately. I believe they are bi-level

Lucas might be right that these are not side doors. Here is a link to the manufacturer – Greenbrier Companies, the manufacturer of these Multi-Max auto carriers that has a better image & a pdf catalog with specifications of this car.

From what I could tell by watching the video these are solid panels.  I would say they are for stiffening the sides to give more structural strength to the car due to the middle and top levels being adjustable.  If the middle and top levels were not movable (fixed in place) you would not need the extra structural strength as the middle and top levels would create the structural integrity.
