I just noticed that Bachmann is offering parts for the EZ Street sedans including body shells, two versions of chassis with motor with different hubcab colors and roller pickups at their usual inflated prices. These parts are here.

Looks like I can't post a direct link. Every time I try to post the parts link it kicks back to the main site page. Go to Bachmann Trains Part Store, select the green Parts Catalog link, select O Scale Williams link, then select E-Z Street link. Don't know why they make it so difficult to pass along information.
They seem to be offering all the spare parts which is what they should do. Blackwall (police, taxi) or whitewall (civilian) versions of the chassis, plastic car bodies, etc. What they should do.
I am like what Bachmann is doing with EZ-Street. They are doing it like I would if it were my product. Maybe slower to develop new products than we would like, but they do everything well, not cutting corners. Good stuff.
Interesting. Gives you a better option that butchering finished Streets vehicles.

Yes, but the price of a new chassis, there, is $60. I normally get the entire sedan for about $53 - $55 from retailers. I hope some of them start carrying the two chassis - they would no doubt sell many because so many people will use them to mount diecast bodies, etc. - and some of them would probably discount it to around $40.
I do like the availability of the small rollers on the panel van - that is the only part for the panel van listed there: interesting.
