I have 2 Williams by Bachmann EZ street turnouts (this is the roadway, not 3 rail track). Both work well independently. I’m trying to connect them together to operate simultaneously off 1 original directional switch (they call it a controller).
I removed the 3 wires from 1 switch and added it to the other. What happens is that 1 switch operates and the other doesn’t. I’ve reversed the wires with the same result.
What am I missing? If the provided switch is the issue, then what switch would you suggest I get to make this work? It's getting 14V. Do I need to up it to it's maximum of 18V? (It operates at 10-18VAC). Any help would be appreciated.
