I am a dimwit and had my trains stored in a place that got very hot. I knew better but laziness got the best of me and now I have one F-3 shell that cracked when I moved it to a cooler location. The crack is in the front of the locomotive from the top of the numberboard to the right small cab window. It is a MTH Premiere F-3 from 2001. I checked with MTH and they do not have any replacement shells. ue to the crack the number board doesn't stay firmly in place. Has anyone had to do this kind of repair before/ I would say the crack is 2 mm at its widest point. If anyone has suggestions on how to repair it I would like to hear them.
