I have an Atlas O F3A shell that was taken off of an unpowered engine. I wish to install this on a 2-rail ESU V4 controlled chassis. The unpowered shell’s lighting circuit circuit board is controlled by track power and does not include a Mars light. It is a different board from what would come with a powered unit. The operation of the lighting circuit is done with manual switches.   I wish to control it with the ESU Loksound V4 Select controller as it would be in a powered unit. Atlas does not have the spare lighting board that would just plug into a ESU board. I have not found any technical information on the ESU board that could help. Anyone out there that can help? I’d appreciate it!

Brenden, I’m not sure of the relationship of the lighting board to the dedicated circuit board that the powered locos came with. Since these boards were made for Atlas, they are specific products. I don’t know the outputdetail of the loksound board. I believe that the lighting board has the oscillator circuit on it for the Mars light. I ado not know where to find the male connectors that fit into the ESU socket. If I did I could do some measurements. I was hoping someone had tackled this before. At this point I’m stumped but far from giving up😂 Thanks Brendan
