Just checked the Atlas site. The fall catalog is up - no O items. Lots of stuff in the pipeline, still - hope they catch up. Especially with locomotives.

If you read past the first couple of pages there will be an Atlas O Premier Catalog in the late fall. Premier, as in no Trainman or Master.
My money says Atlas will remain in O scale but only with the MTH Premier tooling they acquired earlier in the year. I look for less products in the Trainman and Master lines and eventually they will disappear for good.
Good point, Catnap. In my haste, missed that. Though that sounds like a winter catalog - David

I would be surprised if Atlas lets ite Pre MTH tooling go to waste It is already paid for
I'm holding out hope that their Master and Trainman lines do continue ... hoping for some super great announcement from them in the future. Be a real shame to lose them.
Atlas made GARX reefers in HO. Hoping they produce that same selection in O gauge.
With their MTH expanded line of O scale cars and locomotives it is possible that they will issue an elusive O scale catalog.

Jan- I have found those elusive O scale catalogs to be very hard to find!

Fingers crossed, those ex-MTH Airslides are scale. Anyway, 10 minutes with a hacksaw and 2-rail wheels, or $5000(??) on tooling and associated costs around offering a 2-rail item, box labels, then initial factory run of trucks and bodyshells, .... I have an early MTH car, did they change it to give better ride height for KDs?

Atlas will roll out a new O catalog in early November.... they will also be moving their Masterline and Trainman existing tooling to the MTH factory they are using for manufacturing the MTH tooling they purchased.

Best News I’ve Heard IN A LONG TIME !!!!!!! Maybe there’s hope we will AGAIN SEE more of those beautiful Masterline diesels !!!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 How Ive missed some new issues
Excellent news-especially for the reasonably priced Trainman line!
So that'll be the MTH factory in China?
36' Reefers.

If you put an MTH airslide on Atlas 2 rail trucks, you can screw a kadee directly to the car, no spacers.
I called Atlas about 6 months ago looking for side truck detail parts for my C424's. The rep told me that part's wouldn't be available until next year being that they haven't made any diesels in O scale for quite time. Especially the Alco's which he told me are very popular.
Almost sounds like the cartoon in ... Model Railroader(?), the company guys agreeing they'd better get cracking on the new model they announced, so many people having ordered it. Almost....
Where are the 2-rail versions of the ex-MTH cars? The Airslide and Gunderson 50ft hy-cube box at least are worth doing, just need 2-rail trucks. Oh, and different labels on the cardboard boxes I suppose so ....
