Does anyone know where I can find a 1:43 or 1:50 cultivator or harrow to go with my tractor?  I searched both Ebay and Diecast Direct with no success.  Diecast direct had only one implement in the scale I need - a manure spreader.  I have to deal with enough manure spreading in my life without adding some to my layout.

Seems all I can find are tractors.

Last year, I saw some miniature equipment at our local Tractor Supply store. I remember thinking they were about the right size for the o-gauge trains but passed on acquiring any. I don't know if they still carry them or not. They were in several racks of toy farm stuff near the checkout counters. If you have a Farm & Fleet or Tractor Supply near you, it might be worth while stopping. Like I said, that was last year...don't know of current status.

Bill:

One of the problems with farm toys is that there are comparatively few in 1:43, 1:48 or 1:50 scales. 1:64 is much more common. Secondly, tractors are much more common than implements.

Here is a list of dealers which might be of help: http://www.toytractorshow.com/toyshow.htm

Secondly, the farm toy shows in IL, ND and especially IA are the places to find more esoteric scales and implements. I know you're out east, but for anyone interested, here's a list, compliments of "Toy Farmer" magazine:

Good luck in your search!

Thanks for the suggestions.  So far, no luck.  I even decided to return to Diecast to take another look at the manure spreader.  Then, I figured with all the manure spreading these days I might as well join the crowd.  While looking, I saw a farm wagon and a combine.  But what a bummer: these items are available only online.  And they are not on sale.  Diecast does not use PayPal, which is the only way I'll buy online due to some online fraudulent cc problems I've had in the past.

I'll keep looking on the Bay.  In the meantime, if anyone learns of a source, please chime in.

Why don't you order by phone and send a money order?
