Fast track switch electrical failure ?

I have two o-72 switchs in a circle loop with a siding in place for over two years trouble free. Then switchs developed a problem where the hot power between the swithes went out. The bottom of the y had no power. If I jumped the switch with a jumper wire power was fixed. This made me think it is something in the switches Has anyone had this problem with fast track switch or have any insight for what the problem is?
