does the plug play and barrel jack terminal track have fast acting breakers  inside them to protect my trains in a derailment?

a friend told me they did and i want to make sure because i have a postwar 1034 daisy chained to a plug n play pig tail with that hooked to a plug n play track

i'm really hoping to get a lionchief 2.0 engine next year but don't want to damage anything.

i also have the lionel hotwheels engine , an rmt rock island beep and a 628 44 ton switcher

Cody, I'm not positive about this, but I don't think the FasTrack barrel connector terminal tracks have a breaker in them.  It's unclear from your description exactly which one of these terminal tracks you have.  In reading the manual for the Lionel Plug-n-Play Power Block Lock-on, it mentions that the connected transformer may cut out if overloaded.  In which case, a transformer with more power can be connected.  This would indicate to me that the breaker is not inside the terminal track, but inside the transformer just like your 1034.

Would you please include model number of your terminal track?  If unknown, maybe a close-up picture showing the side with the jack(s) may be helpful.
