Had my Fastrack layout running and decided to convert 4 of the 6 switches to constant power using terminal B on my 150 Watt Type VW. On 4 of the switches I pulled out the jumpers and inserted wire onto Aux Ground and Aux In. Then I reinstalled those switches and tested them, everything worked fine. Then I connected the rest of the track to the newly rewired switches and applied track power and the transformer indicted a short! I shut down the track power and again checked the B terminal power and the switches worked fine. I rechecked everything several times and always the same result, a short and a couple of the sections got hot to the touch.
So my question is could the 2 remaining switches that are on track power be shorting out against the switches on Constant Power?
