Fasttrack switches | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

New to forum and looked for this answer but could not locate. I have added a few Fasttrack remote switches to my layout. I have them hooked up to run through my Legacy System so I am not in need of the actual levers. Can I remove the wires and levers from the track with out effecting the remotes usage with the Legacy Control System?

Easy answer is yes. Are these the command switches? If so then no wires are needed unless you want to power them separately using an auxiliary power supply. The non command will need the SC2 to driver them. Otherwise you do not need them. I have considered removing mine on my layout.

Yes you can remove them and many do, however I place the control unit track side and use the lighted numbers for quick identification while activating the Command Control Switches from my Cab2, works like a dream.

Thank you!! I was hoping that was the answer. Trying to clean up my layout a little and removing the wires will be nice.
