I was going to add this to my Redford Theater Christmas layout thread, but couldn't find it.

Anyway, I'm working on an 8x16 layout at the Redford Theatre in Detroit, and am trying to figure out the best way to wire it.  It'll be two loops of track (one loop fastrack, one o-27 tubular) following most of the way around the edge of the table.  Last year I ran a feeder wire to the opposite end of the layout, but I'd like to add a couple more to each loop.  What type of wire do you guys recommend for the feeders?

Suitcase Connectors are not a good idea. They act just like the push-in holes on the back of light switches and receptacles, only a small sharp piece of metal contacts the wire leaving a nick in it. This nick will cause the wire to break in time and cause intermittent loss of power. I use #14 stranded for drops and #12 stranded for bus wiring. I use wire nuts for connections(millions of homes and businesses can't be wrong).          B. Jackson licensed electriction
