I'm in the process of changing the wire that came with my Lionel Terminal track but I can't find any place that sells the Female disconnect connector. Is there a connector comparable or substitute that I can purchase so that I can finish making this cable ?

I think your talking about 22-18AWG-110". I found them in 100 packs at a local electric store. These are made by Philmore and their stock number was 65-4521C. It took me a while to find them. None of the home stores carried any that small. They are exactly the ones needed for connecting to fastrack that match Lionel. If you have problems e-mail me and I'll send you a dozen or so to play with. My e-mail is in profile.

Way to go, Larry! It's always great to see one forum member helping another. Happens here all the time, of course, but this is a fine example of tangible assistance.
I always thought as it applies to trains that the female disconnect meant women didn't understand mens fascination with trains.

That's the disconnect that most of us know about.

Be warned. We are watching and taking notes!
Oops!
This may help.
Whenever I have a "female disconnect", I ask her if she would like red wine with that?
That seems to help a lot.
