I mentioned these on a previous post, but did not have photos available then  I normally don't photo diesels, but this was

an odd-ball train sitting out on the east Colorado prairie between Pueble and the Kansas border.  I just wondered who

"SMNR" is and why bulkhead flat cars seem to have "guard seats"?

I don't know who/what that "SMNR" name is all about but, those specially modified "bulkhead flat cars" are part of a CWR (Continuous Welded Rail) transporting train.

The engine colors are ex-CN, but I think these are scrapper operations.
