I finished these today just before the rain and humidity arrived. Clear coat and humidity do not play nice together. These will be shipped out tomorrow.

WOW!! you do some really great work. I wish I had 1/4 your talent.
I always enjoy seeing your finished models.
Nice work! Always great!
Excellent!
Bravo!!! Encore! Encore! Encore!!!
Great work! When do you have time to sleep?
Thanks everyone.
Paul,
I just cut out and assembled the basic bodies for 3 SOO cabs this afternoon. I knocked off about 6:30 tonight.

Do you have a website? How does one go about finding out more information about a custom caboose? Do I just email you?
Thanks,
Adam

You sure do some great model building. Wish that I had the talent, but I don't.
Nice job.
I've spent a few nights (actually years in the CN type caboose). That's probably the nicest model I've ever seen.
Malcolm, any idea how many you've built in the past 5 years?
Got a question...what do you use to get them at a decent weight so they'll track well?
I'm building a Mullet River caboose (real thin plywood) and I'm concerned about it not weighing enough.
Bob,
I'm on the way to 400 including the HO scale I used to build. I am now numbering them and adding a builders plate. I wish I had done this a longtime ago.
I made a mold out of aluminum flashing and I pour my own lead weights or I use cast bullets.

Thanks Malcolm!
My dad used to make his own sinkers for fishing, he would melt lead in a pot (using a torch I think), poke a hole in the ground with a sharpened wooden stake, and pour the lead in the hole. It was easy to get lead back then at the junk yard.

Shoot me a note, Bob.
