Thanks Alex and J Daddy,
I will have updated photo's in a few more hours.
J Daddy I used 4 banks for this build.
Thanks again, Alex
Hi flmtrain,
I thank you for your kind comments. I will gladly build one for you. I should be done with this one in a few more days, then I have another to do for a fellow forum member. I will do yours right after that. Please email me or if you want I can email you
Also I'm going to post more progress photo's in a few minutes.
Thanks again, Alex
Good evening everyone, hope you are all safe.
Here's two progress photo's of the station, still a ways to go. There will be a clock to install, the whole structure needs to be sprayed, the roof also needs to be painted.
and a few adjustments are still necessary.I almost forgot still need some trim.
Thanks, Alex

Looks great, wish I had a layout large enough to use one of those. Malcolm
Alex,
That is a really fantastic build. I have two banks put away for a station and you are whetting my appetite to get started. I'm not sure that I have the real estate for a project as large as yours. My back wall won't be seen; so I am hoping that two buildings will do it.
That is awesome! That is gonna be unreal when its done!
Great job pal! When I finally build my layout your gonna build all my structures. Lol!
Mike R
Thanks Malcolm, Bob, and Mike R for your kind comments.
Soon it will be finished and I'll post the final photo's
Alex
Hi Mike,
Nothing is working here, right now we have power from our generator but don't know how long that's going to last. Staten Island is in very bad shape. Houses by the water are gone, Restaurants by the water are also gone, very bad flooding, trees down everywhere and no power.Lots of damage.
Alex
Good evening all, after a lot of enjoyable work the Penn station is complete
Just a few notes, I sprayed it a darker color because it looks sharper to me.
Notice the semi detailed interior, which has a schedule board for the passengers to see what track there train is on. There's a total of six lights inside. Also notice the clock on the top of the main building. I also put a cut section of the bank with the original color so you can see the difference. The roofs pop out for easy access and bulb change, same for the bottom sections.
Thanks for looking, Alex

Alex nice build its taking shape beautifully. Are you going to weather it to pop out details of stone etc? You and yours stay safe!
Thanks Don,
This is complete, It's not for me it's for a fellow forum member so no weathering
Thanks, Alex
Alex....BEAUTIFUL JOB!!! Very nicely done and I can see that you did a few tricks so as not to have to cut as much...hiding the seams like a pro!! What else would we expect??... Once again a masterpiece!
Alan
Alex:
Nice job. You did a great job. If MTH ever has a clearance sale on building parts, you should buy them. You could make great things out of simple parts.
So, I have to ask: what's next??!! :-)
Thanks Alan and John,
Alan, I was looking at some of these stations from a few years back and if you were to look close you would see so many seems, So as you said a few I did a few tricks to hide them.
Alan I thank you for your wonderful words, I appreciate it. They mean a lot to me.
John, as for whats next first I have two more of these stations to do, then I have two detailed barber shops to build. There going to have full interiors with flooring barber chairs and a few other items. I also thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot to me.
Thanks, Alex
Thanks Mike R , and Keith,
I thank you for your wonderful comments, he's very pleased with the way the build turned out.
Thanks again, Alex
That is a keeper!
Dave
Alex,
Great looking building. You did a fantastic job. I can only imagine how the person feels that's getting this wonderful looking building.
Fantastic work! Thanks for posting the photos.
Good morning guys,
I thank you, Dave, Jim, and bigtruckpete for your kind comments. I appreciate them very much. It was a fun build, now two more to go.
Thanks again, Alex
Alex,
Looks great! What an excellent piece of work! I know that you envisioned how you wanted it to look when done, but did you anticipate that it would look this good?
I wish I had room for one just like it on my layout, and I would ask you to build me one.
Well done -
Alex
Great work. I had considered doing something similar, but kinda ran out of steam after I tried (unsuccessfully) cutting up some other MTH buildings. Just out of curiosity, what kind of saw did you use? I hope it wasn't just a razor saw.
Again, very nicely done. Kudos.
Jim
Alex,
That is truly awesome. Thanks for the offer to build one for me, but alas, don't add me to the list yet. I would have to do some redesign to fit it in my layout. I am probably too far along to do that, even though I like your station very much.
.....
Dennis
A very nice build, indeed! Keep up the great work, Alex.
Thanks, Alex,Jim, Dennis and Dennis B, for your wonderful comments, It means a lot to me .
Alex, I didn't know the color I pick would look this sharp, so I was a bit surprised.
Jim, I used many different saws and a dremel tool to do the cuts, with a lot of filing
Dennis,if you ever decide just let me know.
Thanks to all again, Alex
