Got mine today as well. Let's go!
Never been to York. It seems like a place that's hard on wallets haha I'll have to go eventually!
I got mine today.
Yep! Time to tune-up the lawnmower!
Well, not exactly.

Bill, depending how you approach the event it can be easy on the wallet. I’ve made some great purchases of track , switches and unique rolling stock. The sheer volume of tables, displays, and sensational people is amazing.
@Tranquil Hollow RR I do need to go eventually. It would be nice to meet a lot of people here in person there.

Seems the more I go the less of a wallet hit. I'm running out of space and things I want. But as a newbie, yes it can be expensive.
@MartyE the part about being new rings true. There's a deal everywhere I turn because I'm just getting started.

I think we tend to impulse buy the first times we are there. I know I did. Now a lot of my purchases are planned or thought out. I always have the "I always wanted one" list too.
@MartyE My catalog impulse buys have finally slowed down a bit haha I bet my first trip to York would be a doozy.
As a PA native, this is an actual sign of spring in PA. (image via wikipedia)
Got mine yesterday. With a little luck, I'll be able to sell-off the rest of the collection this meet.

In the ”greater” (not that much great about it any longer) metropolitan area, that’s a sign for winter, spring, summer, and fall. Apologies to James Taylor.

Art,
Nice article about your layout in the TCA Quarterly which arrived on Tuesday. I’ll be sure to stop by your tables in the red hall in Spring York and inspect the goodies you are selling.

LoL! I think you hit the nail on the head. That’s the only reasonable explanation I can think of.
Got my booklet last week and registered online today for the semi-annual BIG dance!
Speaking of spring, it's 55 degrees today in Portland, Maine.

That sign of spring came early in Pa too. It was 67 degrees one day this week. The warm weather brought another reminder of spring with it…my York badge
The sure sign of spring in SE-PA is the Allentown Spring Thaw show, but the thaw has been underway for weeks!
This will be my first time attending the Spring Thaw and I’m looking for to the opportunity.

Got our York badges yesterday.
This is first year in decades we have not gone on a cross country ski vacation due to lack of decent snow that my old legs can handle (lots of ice). Here in MD it has been too nice outside to work on the layout.
It is so dang warm that my one sister is actually wishing for snow as her daughter who her and her husband are stationed in Nebraska got a dusting out there yesterday. Sorry, they can keep the snow out west.
