First time with Legacy, am I missing anything ?

I am finally going to be connecting my legacy system on a small holiday layout and what to know if I am missing anything ?  I am going to use a PostWar ZW for power with a tpc 300 and have the 6-14191 cable to connect my base to the tpc.  Also have a tvs to connect to where the power is wired to the track based on what I have read here.  Do I need anything else ?  My understanding is the tpc will provide the needed protection between my legacy equipped engine and the PW ZW ?  Or do I need to add a breaker to the mix ? I know similar questions have probably been asked, but I appreciate your response.
