I followed your link and at first glance, I thought is was the pretty girl. Turned out to be the meat head. As a very famous comedian would say...
I do feel bad for the train crew.

Sounds just like the tragic episode in February 2014 down in rural Georgia, where the CSX crosses the Altamaha River on a huge bridge. A film crew working on the Midnight Rider movie, did not have permission to be on the tracks, let alone the RR bridge, when a freight came through and hit their "set-up" and killed a 27 year old female camera operator.
Possible suicide?
Did you know trains can't swerve?
I read it all by myself on a sign at the train show today!
Why would anybody film near a live railroad track?
It may cost a lot more but you could always build a set of tracks on the back lot to film something.
There are tourist lines that would love to have the chance of having their railroad on film.
I guess it's like what Gilly posted; "You can't fix stupid not even with duct tape!"
I can add to this about seeing stupid stunts here in West Palm Beach FL.
I have seen a person running down the Tri-Rail tracks, he was between the two rails running down the center of the track.

Surprisingly this is becoming quite common, nation wide. In fact, someone pointed out that when perusing the individual's Internet Site and history, one will find many instances of him "doing exercises" need or on railroads. They begs the age old question, WHY?????
A West Point graduate and former Army Ranger trusts his life to a film crew? The Hollywood delusion rotted his brain.
The film crew should be arrested.
What a tragedy. May he rest in Peace!
