I just spoke with Dave at The Train Station (Mountain Lakes NJ) to order my VistaVision dome car. He reports their play with one of the cabooses lead to making an opening in the glazing so the camera doesn't have to see through the plastic window. He said this had remarkable results, from not very good to virtually "hi def" (my paraphrasing of his words). So it looks like that fancy dome car will have rain coming in through its missing front window pane, and won't travel through the car washer at the streamliner ramp.
